Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park – Game Drive

🚐 Morning departure from Arusha
Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha at 7:30 AM, followed by a scenic drive of approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park.

Enjoy an extensive game drive inside one of Tanzania’s most iconic parks, renowned for its massive elephant herds and impressive baobab trees.

Expect to see elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalo, impalas, antelopes, waterbucks, baboons, dwarf mongooses, and fringe-eared oryx.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Full Day Game Drive

Day 4: Serengeti Half Day Game Drive – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Full Day Game Drive

Begin your day with a descent of approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

🦏 Exceptional wildlife viewing
The crater floor offers outstanding game viewing thanks to its permanent water sources. Spot endangered black rhinos, wildebeest, buffalo, zebras, elands, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, giant tusked elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

🦁 Predators & scavengers
Observe spotted hyenas, jackals, and wild dogs roaming the crater, making this one of the best places in Africa to see predators in action.

🦩 Rich birdlife
Over 500 bird species have been recorded in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering a paradise for bird lovers.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park – Game Drive & Return to Arusha

Explore the park’s diverse landscapes, from open grassy plains and dense acacia woodlands to giant fig and mahogany trees, floodplains, Soda Lake, and distant volcanic peaks.

Spot buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, dik-dik, mongooses, zebras, and, famously, tree-climbing lions and tusked elephants in the acacia forests.

Lake Manyara is a paradise for bird lovers, with over 400 species recorded. Marvel at thousands of pink flamingos, as well as pelicans, storks, and other large waterbirds.

🚐 Afternoon return to Arusha
In the late afternoon, depart the park and drive back to Arusha for your final evening.
